RPC Status

What is RPC Status?

RPC stands for "Remote Procedure Call" and it is used in the context of blockchain technology to refer to a protocol that allows a user or application to communicate with a blockchain node over the internet. RPC status is an inquiry to determine if tokens can be transferred from one blockchain ecosystem to another.

Checking The RPC Status:

Before porting tokens between different blockchain ecosystems with Chainport, it is important to check the RPC status of each blockchain. This can be done easily by visiting our Status Page. This page provides real-time updates on the "health" of various blockchains and will indicate if tokens can be transferred between them. If the RPC status is healthy, it is safe to proceed with the porting process. Otherwise, it is recommended to wait until the RPC status is healthy before attempting to port tokens.
